On the night of Wednesday, January 5, 2023, a young man named Izuchukwu Charles Igweka was killed by unknown gunmen in Ukpor Town, Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State, Nigeria.
Izuchukwu was set to have a traditional wedding with his partner, Chinenye Linda Chukwuchekwa, on January 7 in Ezekwuabo-Otolo Nnewi.
His friend, Obi Chibuike Charles, was with him at the time of the attack and said that they were targeted by the gunmen.
