Man Beats His Wife To Death Over a Loaf of Bread

Ogochukwu Anene, also known as Ada Awka, was a resident of Umuokpu village in Awka. She was married to Mr. Ndubisi Wilson Uwadiegwu from Enugu state, who brutally beat her to death over a dispute about buying bread. Ogochukwu Anene was the mother of five children, four boys and one girl. According to her 14-year-old son, the father became angry when Ogochukwu Anene used her own money to buy a loaf of bread for the family, and then finished the entire loaf himself. When Ogochukwu Anene confronted him about it, he beat her to death. Ogochukwu Anene was also the senior prefect of Amenyi Girls’ Secondary School’s class of 2000.
